I saw this article and was overjoyed to see the return of one of my favourite childhood toys.

I thought everyone would jump on this thread, it's Big Trak people!

Anyway, I forgot to ask.
Will the Jr have the same sounds as the original?
What are the dimensions of the Jr?
Are there plans to release the trailer?
Are there plans for a wireless control addon?
Why have I got to wait until August when my birthday is in April? hint hint

I have also just found out that Zeon are releasing a replica of the original Big Trak a month before the Dübreq Big Trak Jr. I've now got to buy that too as my original is in bits. I was an inquisitive child.

Now, I like the original Big Trak and I like the Big Trak Jr. But which is best? There's only one way to find out. FIGHT!

Yes... we're re-launching Bigtrak this year... to answer the questions:

1: Yes, we sampled the sounds off the original as we felt they were a key part of it's charm.

2: It's about 7" long, 5" wide and 4" tall

3: No plans to do the trailer yet, new line of accessories include a digital camera and foam rocket launcher

4: There may be a new version later with wireless programming and other cool features... not in the Jr version though.

And yes, Zeon are making a collectors edition version of the original too... afaik they are launching about 6 weeks after we are though, not a month before.

We haven't even announced our launch date yet so you can't know they're a month before

Thanks for the clearing all that up. Sorry I got the dates wrong, it's just that on a website they said the Jr would be released in August, they must have been guessing.
